MARY N. MATERA.(CAPITAL REGION)

RENSSELAER -- Mary N. Mantello Matera passed away September 7, 1997 at home after a long illness. She was born in Cardinale, Calabria, May 19, 1913 and came to Troy at the age of 12. Daughter of the late Dominick and Isabelle Bosca Mantello. She was the wife of the late Frank Chiera and Joseph Matera who passed away in 1994. Mrs. Matera was a member of the St. Anthony Society of St. John's Church, Rensselaer, Past Monitor of Court San Salvadore #146 and member of Court Mary Regis Catholic Daughters of Albany. She was also a member of Leonardo Da Vinci Lodge of Rensselaer. She is survived by her step-daughter, Angeline Matera of Rensselaer. Sister of James, Dominick and …
