The CTA discontinued use of two vehicle washers at the Archer bus garage and the Midway L terminal after an employee contracted Legionnaire's disease.
The employee was an electrician. The CTA has stopped using equipment he had worked on, as a "precautionary measure," while it studies the situation, said CTA spokeswoman Noelle Gaffney.
